Digital Graphic Designer (ref#: jv08013)

About The Role

Born Interactive is looking for a Graphic Designer (Digital) who is passionate about visual communication and user experience. You should be a highly creative individual with a sharp eye for details. Someone who is eager to learn and to grow.

In your capacity as Digital Graphic Designer, you will report to the Creative Director and work closely with the UX Lead, content management, social media, developers, and client servicing teams, to create and develop content, digital platforms and campaigns that help Born Interactive achieve its objectives.

Job Description
  • Working on the creative development of digital and non-digital marketing and promotional materials, creating all graphic and visual artwork for the following media:
    • Digital and Non-Digital marketing assets
    • Social media assets
    • Email assets
    • Website assets
    • Internal and external corporate publications
    • Print assets
    • Campaign assets.
  • The full project lifecycle – from brief and pitch to usability (UX), design (UI) and build
  • Key player in pitches, working closely with assigned teams to deliver and win new business.
  • Working from scratch on pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross-platform design work
  • Working collaboratively with cross functional creative, client servicing and development teams to deliver digital output of the highest quality and to brief
  • Staying on track with emerging digital trends and culture
  • Articulating and presenting creative ideas/treatments to teams and clients
  • Proven understanding of UX, UI, typography, layout, color and grid structures
  • Ensuring that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommending improvements if necessary.
  • Creating visual concepts that match the content and the image wanted by the clients but that fit in the product/brand global image; ensure that sites are easy to navigate.

Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in a digital or communication agency.
  • University degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or other relevant disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of digital tools (sketching, prototyping, user-testing) and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (this could include Photoshop, After Effects, Indesign and Illustrator)
  • Knowledge/understanding of HTML and CSS limitations and possibilities
  • Excellent creative instincts with a solid understanding of design, photography, typography, and layouts
  • Knowledge in taking briefs and insights and formulating them into ideas and visuals that answer client objectives.
