On the occasion of Christmas and New Year 2013; we launched at Born Interactive in partnership with MaliaTec our 2013 socially engaged greeting initiative, eWishForLife, to support the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL).
The idea of the initiative revolved around a digital Christmas tree that we installed at the CCCL and activated through a microsite and facebook application allowing all users to send their wishes for free and for every sent wish we donated 1 US$ to the CCCL.
People affirmed their endorsement, and the initiative turned to be a great success with 3,646 wishes received, 2 Million impressions on Twitter, more than 12,000 mentions, and 110,000 people reached on Facebook.
On January 15, 2014, the initiative was concluded for this year and 5,000 US$ were donated to the CCCL.
